Is this a kickstarter type risky project that may never deliver?

No. We have already mass produced the Go Flow and are only waiting for the boxes. March 3rd is because of the risk caused by Chinese New Year in February. We aim to ship sooner than 3/3.

Does this device have tACS, tPCS, tRNS modes?

No. Only tDCS is available. Please consider the foc.us v2 if you require other stimulation modes.

Does this work with my iPhone or Android?|

Go Flow does not use bluetooth and is not controlled by a mobile app. Use the rocker switch for all control.

    No problems so far

I've used my foc.us v1 for a few years to treat depression, and my go flow does the same job in a more convenient package at a much lower price.

    Got Burned.

This seemed like a great idea with an even better price. The first time I tried the "learn faster" configuration at 1.5 mA for 15 min. I felt a little "pinching"at the shoulder pad and when I was finished there was a mark there. I checked the connections to make sure I had things set correctly (I did) and figured that it may have been due to my rather haphazard pad placement.

The next time I tried it I was more careful. I shave the area on my shoulder, wiped the skin with a little soap and water and once that had dried I carefully placed the pads, again in the "learn faster" configuration. This time I turned it down to 1.0 mA for 15 minutes. Again I felt a sharp, burning, pinching sensation at the shoulder pad location. This did diminish over the course of 5 minutes or so. When I was done There was a reddish-white lesion a little bigger than a pencil eraser under when I removed the shoulder pad.

This didn't hurt much so I didn't think much of it. A couple of days later I accidentally poked it and felt nothing which was concerning. I went into have it examined and was basically told that I had a small full-thickness or 3rd degree burn. The dead skin layer was cut away to allow healing and is doing well but is going to leave a scar.

I definitely wanted to play with the Go Flow but for now I think I'm done. I don't think this will happen to everyone who uses this product. I may have a defective unit or my body chemistry might be off but I would say that if you feel like you are getting burned you probably are and stop your session.

    Disappointed

I do like the small form factor. The concept is good.

But I am disappointed in what I received in the package.

1)The device I received does not look like the ones on the site. I cannot see any of the stimulation settings markings on it. I can see the imprints for the markings. I think they forgot to paint it.

    2) There are no detailed instructions on using it. I expect to see instructions for each step. I had to resort to unofficial youtube videos to figure it out. The designers seem to want to make this like an Apple product, everything minimalistic. But this is not a music player, it effects your brain. Perhaps they think that less is more in a liability sense.

    3) I will say it again: give me detailed instructions, describe and video to me what I should see each step of the way, from attaching the battery to setting the power and timing. And then what does it display when it is working? And how do I turn it off? What does it display/do when the timer is done? Can I keep the battery attached and it not drain the battery? I do not want to assume anything. Give specific accurate detailed instructions. The "help" I see on the website is not sufficient or helpful

These details should be included in the packaging and on the website. No Ifs ands or buts about it.
    .
When I get answers to the above, I will re-review.

    Got mine today!

Trying it out now as I write. Arrived early, nicely packaged and looks to be good quality. Wish they had spent more than 1 minute on the directions though. It says to Connect battery (check-easy, its a tight fit though), Change current indicated (check-trial and error showed me its a rocker panel, orange lights went up and down on the dual indicator) Press to set (check-seemed like it took the setting ) Set duration (check-dual indicator goes from 5-35 minutes) Press to start. Here's where the problem begins. Pressing rocker panel turns lights off, then cycles orange and green lights through range-now you're left with just the orange (current) lights on. Is it on? Is it off? Is it waiting for instructions? Is it working? Shouldn't the timer lights be on, counting down? Whats going on Focus-you're leaving us hanging?

    Feel nothing!

First report: I plugged in this morning and hooked it up as instructed (X is on the left forehead and Y is on the right shoulder blade) then I set for 35'. By some reasons I didn't feel anything. I then reset it to run for 5' and I still don't feel anything. I might have expected the tingling more than it should have been ... I don't know. I will submit my "Second" report after this 5'.
